Kiwi Life is a planning guide built from public information. It is general information only. It is not immigration advice, legal advice, tax advice or financial advice, and it does not take the place of a licensed professional.

Rents, prices, tax rates and rules change. Figures are estimates based on the sources and dates shown in the planner. Always check with the official source before you make a decision, sign a lease or spend money.
Suburb information, including the Area profile, describes areas on average. It does not describe any particular street, property or person, and it does not measure safety.

Privacy

Everything you type into the planner (your household, salary, rent and checklist) is saved only in your own web browser on your device. It is not sent to us, and we cannot see it.
When you unlock the planner, your licence key is checked with our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. They receive the licence key and a label for the device. Your planner details are never sent.
When you buy, Lemon Squeezy processes your payment and email address under their privacy policy. We receive your name, email address and order details so we can provide the product and help you.
We don't sell your information or use advertising trackers.
To delete what the planner has saved, clear this website's data in your browser settings.
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

Refunds

All sales are final. Because Kiwi Life is digital content that unlocks straight away, we don't give refunds if you change your mind.
If the planner doesn't work as described, or your key won't unlock, email contact@baselnz.com and we'll fix it. If we can't, we'll put it right as the law requires.
This doesn't limit your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act or the consumer laws of your country.

Terms of sale

Your purchase is a one-time payment for a personal licence to use Kiwi Life (both "Moving to NZ" and "Moving within NZ") on one of your own devices. If you replace your device, email us and we can move your key.
Your purchase includes updates to the data in the planner for 12 months from the date you buy. You can keep using the planner after that.
Please don't share your licence key or copy the planner. Keys that are shared publicly may be turned off.
Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for all orders. They handle payment, invoices and sales taxes such as GST.
These terms are governed by New Zealand law.
